Voices of Comedy weekend gives students the opportunity to WATCH, LEARN and PERFORM STAND-UP. All 3 sections of this event are free and open to all students.
FRIDAY:
8pm: Show
Stand-Up Comedians from Boston Comedy Chicks are coming to campus! At 8pm in the SCC Theater, Boston-based comics Bethany Van Delft, Nora Panahi, Tooky Kavanagh, and Katlin McPhee will perform their stand-up. These comedians have performed nationwide and accumulated a number of accolades. We are tremendously excited for them to come to campus!
SATURDAY:
1-3 pm: Workshop
Boston Comedy Chicks Coach Kathe Farris is coming to host a workshop in the Rose Art Museum. Students will have the opportunity to write jokes, get feedback, and prepare to perform material.
7-9pm: Open Mic
Student-Open Mic in the Stein! Any student is welcome to perform stand-up! Anything goes!
