Tonight Tues 10/28/08 we have a band from the North Shore suburbs of Boston called Autumn Above playing LIVE on The Joint at 10pm. You can come down to the Multipurpose Room in Shapiro Campus Center to watch them live or listen to the performance from the comfort of your own home or dormitory by accessing the webstream from our web site wbrs.org.
Autumn Above is an all-acoustic progressive rock band from the Boston, MA suburbs. Using all their different influences, Autumn Above strives to make the music that they themselves can enjoy and share with anyone who would like to listen. In 2007 they released their self-recorded 8 song EP, "To the Inferno..." The band is currently working hard to write and record. With two albums worth of material, the band hopes to record their first full-length studio album in the very near future. In the meantime, Autumn Above will be recording demo, after demo to show what they've been creating and to keep things interesting for their listeners."
INFLUENCES: Murder By Death, Pink Floyd, Coheed and Cambria, Opeth, MUSE, At the Drive-In, Led Zeppelin, Tool, Alice In Chains, Blind Guardian, Small Brown Bike

Coffee Room and Acoustic Musicianing
Boston-based Americana and folk rock group AUTUMN HOLLOW BAND will perform an exclusive stripped-down set live for FREE on Friday morning October 17 at 11:30am in the Multipurpose Room, 2nd floor, Shapiro Campus Center. A five-piece band, the Autumn Hollow Band is a relatively new incarnation, though its members are no strangers to the music scenes of Boston and New England.
