The WBRS Spring Program While professional baseball and hockey abandoned their fans in 1994, WBRS Sports did not.
The WBRS Sports department delivered live coverage of Brandeis Judges' baseball, soccer and, of course, basketball. WBRS strives to bring Brandeis Athletics to the Greater Boston Area.
As the basketball season winds down, expect to hear Brandeis Men's and Women's Basketball through the post-season, including the Women's NEW-8 tournament.
When March begins, so do baseball and softball (at least for the Judges that is -- sorry Red Sox!) The Brandeis Baseball and Softball Teams will kick off their seasons in beautiful (and sunny) Cocoa Beach, Florida. From March 10 through March 17, the Judges battle it out against their greatest UAA rivals. Emory, NYU, Chicago, Carnegie Mellon, Rochester, Case Western Reserve, Johns Hopkins, and Washington will all be on hand... Will you? Don't worry, because you don't have to be, because we will! That's right. We're flying to Florida (freight class) to bring Brandeis and Boston exclusive LIVE coverage of the UAA tournaments. Now you can be there for every single, every double, every tripple and every home run. Just turn on your radio and let US bring you the game.
Fear not, we won't stop there. We'll continue to bring you Brandeis Baseball when the Judges return to Marcus Field on the campus of Brandeis University. Our coverage of Brandeis and national sports continues non-stop (as opposed to our flight) as we bring you up-to-date stories and analysis on Datebook and the SportSide Cafe.
If the baseball strike has got you down, WBRS Sports will lift you up. WBRS Sports -- It's how sports was meant to be heared -- always!
