PRRC, WBRS & BTV Present: SXSB

Because it was such an incredible success last year we are doing it again!  Two Shows.  One Weekend. Time to party!!!!!

Friday April 8:

• Das Racist:  Brooklyn based hip hop artists that talk about topics ranging from racism to taco bell (though thats probably not that much of a range). They’re keen eye for production value on their beats have gained them a huge following and make for what is… sure to be a crazy live show.

• Autre Ne Veut:   Incorporates melodious synth loops with haunting vocals and a steady dancebeat that is sure to get you pumped up and dancing for the all out craziness of the headlining act.

Saturday April 9:

• Oberhofer:  Hardcore breakdowns splattered on indie fun. Plus they’re cute. What else can we say? CMJ juggernauts Oberhofer are finally coming to Brandeis. Do it!!

• Velvet Davenport:  According to Velvet Davenport’s influences on myspace, their influences are trees. If trees were the Beach Boys on opiates(more opiates) it might sound like this, in the BEST way possible. Fuzzywuzzyindiepop, yay!

Doors are at 9pm for both nights. Both shows are free. If we reach capacity (and we better!) Brandeis students with ID will be given entry before off campus attendees.  Brought to you by the PRRC, WBRS and BTV.
