Colt Stays In the Rainbow State for Another Year

Hawaii QB Colt Brennan has decided to come back for his senior season. After seeing how Timmy Chang performed in the NFL, or lack of performed, you have to wonder if like Chang, Brennan is merely a product of the Hawaii Rainbow Warrior system.
I think he is, and that is why I find it unbelievable that Brennan, who has been projected to go in the end of the first round in some mock drafts, would return to college for his senior season. I'm not sure if Brennan's stock could be any higher, and good luck matching your 53 touchdowns you threw this season.

Do you think it was a smart move for Colt to return for his senior season? And do you think he will have any success in the NFL?

In the right system this man can make magic happen. He proves you don't need to be great to get the job done. I think his play could translate very well into the NFL. It all depends on the system he is put in.
That Three Ninjas picture induced a spittake. Too funny.
I always think that if a player has a good season and is projected well in the draft then he should take that opportunity and go for it.
I see going back for your senior year as a huge gamble with your future. Putting aside the fact that you could have a shocker of a season, there is always the chance that you could suffer a big time injury and miss out on the NFL altogether.
Very hard to say. There have been guys like Vince Young who make an impact right away, and then guys like Heath Shuler who get sent to the abyss.
If I were Colt, he performed the way in in HI, should go into the draft. As Sanchez said he could always be injured.
Now if he wants to pull a Leinart and stay, all the better for him.
great picture
good for him for staying...now you just don't want to see his stock drop or for him to get hurt...though his share of Hawaiin poontang probably helped make his decision.
While I do think that Hawaii's system helps quarterbacks flourish, I think Colt is the real deal.
Congrats to a kid who was originally not wanted by any Division I school for going back and completing his college education.
Over/under on his TD passes next year... 55? Going to be very interesting to see what he does this year and how that affects his status.
