We're Going To Disney World! Or At Least Texas and Tampa Bay Are...

Since 2001, the Tampa Bay Devil Rays have finished 3rd to last, 2nd to last, or dead last in average attendance. The organization is desperate to attract fans to their games. So what are they doing? They're going to Disney World!
"Discussions are under way to move the May 15th through the 17th series against the Rangers from St. Petersburg to Kissimmee (kuh-SIM'-ee), Florida. That's where the Atlanta Braves have spring training at Disney's Wide World of Sports complex."
The Disney stadium also served host to the first-round games in the World Baseball Classic this past March. The venue holds about 9,500, however the outfield berm seating increases the potential attendance to just over 11,000.
So...Who wants to go to Disney World?

Anything to get out of playing the dump known as Tropicana Field!
Even with 11,000 seats, the D-Rays probably still won't sell out.
Isn't this where SportsCenter does its broadcasts from?
The field as Disney is by far the best minor league or exhibition facility I've seen. The Rays would do well to play there as people around here in Orlando snapped up the World Baseball Classic tickets so quickly it was almost unbelievable.
Those louts are/were the only managers that charged for parking at spring training practice! It was $5 just to go see the Braves, we decided to head in another direction to catch the Astros and Expos.
i'm telling you, the answer is cheerleaders. or strippers. or both.
