Even Fans Play Through Injuries

Whenever an athlete plays while being hampered by an injury he is often adored for putting his team ahead of his pain. However when a fan does this it is even more admirable, as their sacrifice goes unnoticed. This was the case when an unnamed woman was hit by a falling piece of concrete while watching a Marlins-Phillies game at Dolphin Stadium this past Sunday. Fans around her described the piece of concrete as being similar to "the size of a football."

The fan was treated by paramedics at her seat and sustained only minor injuries. And according to George Torres, director of corporate communications for Dolphin Stadium, "As she was being treated, she continued to keep score."

What dedication!

What a heroic feat. I am glad there are more women in the Major Leagues.
