Sunday Morning News - Can Tiger Grab a Third Claret Jug?

British Open Sunday...a beautiful thing. ABC begins their broadcast at 8 am ET. I will be up to watch, will you? What an amazing leaderboard! Names within four strokes of the leader Tiger Woods (-13) include Adam Scott (-9), Mark Calcavecchia (-9), Angel Cabrera (-11), Jim Furyk (-11), Ernie Els (-12), Chris DiMarco (-12), and Sergio Garcia (-12). Can Tiger claim his third Claret Jug? He has never lost when leading a major after 36 holes. This should be a great Sunday.

Ricky Williams broke his arm yesterday playing for the Toronto Argonauts in the CFL...Sucks to be a Dolphins fan.

Mavericks owner Mark Cuban almost became a part-owner of the Pittsburgh Penguins, but his bid to buy the team was rejected. That is amazing news for current NHL Commish Gary Bettman.

In baseball news, the Orioles managed to score 9 runs in an inning last night against the Devil Rays and still find a way to lose.

If Mark Cuban was bidding to buy my team, I'd do just about anything I could to make that happen. Sucks to be a Penguins fan (wait, are there any NHL fans left?)

Ok, so maybe telling people not to bet on Andres Romero of Argentina wasn't such a good idea
