Boston boy,
I have to disagree with you to an extent...I miss if I didn't what would be the point of this blog, right?
Let's focus on the AL in this comment because hey I'm an AL guy. I love the A's. I think they have a better chance this year than any other year in the Billy Beane era to win the World Series. Why you ask? Simple. They have always had solid pitching, but the additions of Milton Bradley and Frank Thomas solidify an offense that is no longer mediocre, but good. I do expect the White Sox to finish first, with the Yankees and Oakland. Meanwhile the WC is a tossup between Boston and Anaheim, with Boston having a slight edge at the moment. I also do not expect the Rangers to finish fourth, but to compete for a while in the AL West then drop off.
your picks suck, not gonna happen like that at all
I don't think you can call Baltimore a disappointment. I don't think anyone thinks they'll do better than fourth in the AL East. Also, I'd be curious why you think Boston is going to actually win the division this year (besides the fact that you're from Boston). Most people agree that although the Red Sox are very strong this year, they are weaker than past teams, while the Yankees are arguably better than last year. In addition, I think you are forgetting about the Giants. They might not win the division, but I expect them to seriously contend.
Brewers will be good, but no way they win the wild card yet.
