The Return of the Easy Minute
NFL owners have decided to clamp down on endzone celebrations and by a 29-3 vote have given officials the power to penalize a team 15 yards for any excessive celebration. The vote passed only after a more strict rule that would require Chad Johnson to wear a straight jacket and Hannibal Lector mask fell two votes short.
The Cubs placed right-handers Mark Prior and Kerry Wood on the 15 day disabled list, or as they've come to know it, "the normal list."
USA basketball has announced that Las Vegas will be its training center through 2008. Team USA made it clear that Vegas was not chosen for the gambling and hookers as most people think, but rather because its location will give players access to marijuana from both southern California, and midwestern states such as Montana and Idaho.
The Jazz honored Karl Malone last week, retiring his number and unveiling a bronze statue of him. The bronze Malone is holding a bottle of Rogaine in his right hand and fondling Vanessa Bryant with his left.
